What I gained from my student ambassador induction event, besides gorgeous bras and booze.
As well as being my first official blogger or ambassador event, last night’s Boux Avenue student ambassador event at their Westfield store was the perfect start to my ambassador journey and engagement with the stunning brand that Boux is. The evening was hosted by members of the Boux Avenue PR and marketing teams who provided the warmest welcome and set-up for the rest of the girls and I. Needless to say, there were also plenty of photo opportunities amongst the gorgeous New-In items dotted around the venue.
Meeting the other student ambassadors was the perfect opportunity to exchange social media handles, experiences of the brand and ideas for our content over the year. It was also nice to be able to put names to faces and finally talk to the girls whose entries and follow-up posts we had been supporting over the previous months.

Besides networking and learning more about the scheme, we were also treated to a Q & A session from influensters India Reynolds (@lovefromreyn) and Laura Budryte @laurabudryte, Laura also being a member of the ambassador scheme during 2016-17. The girls spoke about their experiences of blogging and promoting as well as offering advice on things such as follower engagement and tackling negative feedback. Equally, learning about their career paths and journey within the social media industry was an eye opener for those of us who were curious about the next direction to take regarding our aspirations to grow as influensters.
The remainder of the evening featured some delicious treats, including glittery prosecco, and a group shop browse where we got to view some of the newest additions to the Boux collections and choose our favourites to take home. I chose the gorgeous Bronze Chloe Body which I am super excited to wear and shoot in.
Although the evening shot by owing to the excitement of meeting the Boux team and other ambassadors, it has made me even more excited to be a part of the ambassador scheme and to work with a brand which promotes so much more than just pretty underwear. This year more than ever, Boux Avenue is growing into a more diverse brand with activewear, nightwear and even homeware and children's wear making its way into the collection. Likewise, the brand’s endorsement of female beauty, diversity and campaigns such as breast cancer care is an aspect that I am most eager to be a part of and promote.
